About

CannaEquity is a group of civic technologists—engineers, designers, data geeks, and content strategists—working to empower Oakland’s historically marginalized populations to become successful business owners in the cannabis industry.

CannaEquity’s partner search tool supports the Cannabis Equity Permit Program, the City of Oakland’s groundbreaking initiative to minimize disparities within the cannabis industry. Our tool is specifically designed to facilitate creation of business partnerships, or incubator relationships, that can help Equity and General applicants qualify for their permits.

CannaEquity is fiscally sponsored by Vitalize America, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
